We are looking to expand our team with IMMEDIATE openings for full-time Climber Positions in Kailua-Kona. Experience is necessary!

If you have NO experience but would like to start as a Groundsman and LEARN to become a Climber - reach out to us to discuss.

COMPENSATION WILL BE BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY!

Starting Pay: $20-50/hour (depending on certifications/licenses, experience, and ability)

ISA Certification is a plus, but not required.

Once the 90-day probation period is completed, starting pay will be reassessed.

Signing Bonus: $250 will be issued upon completion of each quarter employed with us in the first year.

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong work ethic, good attitude, and self-driven.

Ability to work well with team members and management.

Able to work long hours in the sun.

Able to lift 50 lbs consistently.

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, 8-10 hours a day with a minimum of 20 hours a week during slow weeks. 7 am-4 pm usually.

There may be some weekend jobs throughout the year.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

Cut away dead, obstructive, or excess branches from trees and shrubbery.

Utilize chain saws and work crews to safely cut down limbs.

Climb trees with safety devices to properly cut down limbs.

Prune or treat trees or shrubs using handsaws, pruning hooks, shears, and clippers.

Use lifts and power tools to gain access to high areas.

Remove debris and cart away large limbs for disposal.

Cut branches away from power lines.

Cable, brace, tie, bolt, stake, and guy trees and branches to provide support.

Utilize climbing equipment or buckets of extended truck booms, and/or chainsaws, hooks, handsaws, shears, and clippers.
